Cr. Ir. Ts. Hemang Yu Abit, graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng, Civil) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor in 2023 He has worked with various public listed construction companies in Sarawak before the incorporation of SNA Consult (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd. He has more than nineteen (19) years of experience on engineering consulting, design and planning, site construction, quality control and assurance as well as project management.

From his first appointment as an Engineer in a construction firm in 2002, his hard work and commitment led to his rise in rank until his last appointment as Managing Director in SNA Consult (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd 2018. Since the formation of SNA in 2018, Hemang and team have managed to bring back many local professionals from West Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and even Australia to serve and contribute to their own state of Sarawak.

Among the highlights of Hemang’s career includes being awarded “Darjah yang Amat Mulia Bintang Sarawak” for the year 2018 by our Head of State. As an active corporate member in the small Orang Ulu community, Hemang who is Kayan was also appointed as Deputy President for the Orang Ulu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OUCCI) on September 2020.
